- The company currently lacks adequate visibility into its outbound transportation costs, including a detailed breakdown of the individual cost components for shipping products to both domestic and international customers.
- There is limited visibility into the way-of-working and operational processes within the transportation department.

- Develop a good view on the current way of working to asses opportunities in sourcing & internal optimizations.
- Developing a clear and detailed view of transportation costs to build visibility, assess value for improvements, and define a roadmap of opportunities, ultimately optimizing operations and enhancing the company’s cost structure.

- Comprehensive visibility into the current outbound road transport ‘as-is’ situation was established through detailed data collection, validation, and targeted discussions with key business stakeholders. An internal Power BI dashboard was developed to enable a structured and data-driven analysis of transport flows, facilitating the identification and development of potential improvements initiatives.
- Over the course of this 6-week assignment, a structured and phased methodology was applied to ensure a successful delivery. Identified initiatives were then assessed and prioritized to enhance operational effectiveness and strengthen the client’s overall cost structure.

- Clear insight in current Way-of-Working and improvement opportunities.
- Development of a 1-year, phased wave plan outlining a set of prioritized initiatives to be implemented, targeting 10-15% in savings.
